I've been putting this post off, but anyone who watches my Youtube will already know. The other morning I found both my mice had passed away. There was no reason for it, and it still upsets me. They were both curled up in their bed together, and they had passed away. I still don't understand why, nothing was different the night before, but I've decided there is no point dwelling on it any more. There was obviously a plan for them at the rainbow bridge.
I'm so sorry! It must be very hard....
ReplyDeleteI also feel sorry for you [big hug]. I don't want to bother you or upset you even more but... Since it was both of them at the same time maybe some investigation should be done: maybe it was something in the food or some kind of serious illness that may affect also the other animals or eben humans...?
ReplyDeleteYeah I've been working on finding out what it is. I've disinfected all cages and thrown away their food so far. It was just a huge shock.
DeletePoor you :( You didn't deserve it, and neither did your mice for that matter. I am sure they enjoyed their life and are now happy in heaven.
ReplyDeleteRest in peace
Oh, I'm so sorry! When we lost our mice, I think it hurt me more than it did the kids. :( We KNEW what happened to ours, though: tumors.
ReplyDeleteSad for you. :(

Hello, Onion, how are you...? Are you and the rest of your little friends all right? Did you get to know WHY your mice fell asleep so suddenly and together...?
ReplyDeleteNo unfortunately. I'm left to forumlate a theory, and so far I think what happened was one died, and as they were so close, the other just followed. All their food is gone, and the other furries are all fine. I cleaned everything from top to bottom in case of infection.
DeleteIt seems it was just a horrible coincidence perhaps. I dunno but I still get sad when I see their empty cage :(
I'm so sorry... Your theory is quite possible, such things happen... [sighting]
